Six certificate programs in theological studies are presently offered. All of these of these programs require completion of at least six courses in a coherent sequence of studies. Certificate students in Theological Studies, Systematic Theology and Pastoral Counseling are required to take a course in World Religions. Two to three years of study are usually needed to complete the requirements for a certificate. The Certificate in Chaplaincy may be completed in one year of study.

The particular course of study the student endeavors is determined by the student’s goals and in consultation with an academic advisor.

In addition to the courses listed above, the student is required to take Education for Pastoral Care (EPC). Students who complete the course work for this certificate without completing EPC are granted a certificate in Pastoral Care.
